umm. the buildings here are just placeholder for me so i know where everything is, the huge building in the left is just the mages tower, the houses are chedinhal houses. Oh right. I didn't recognise it all made out of black lines like that.... By the way, I love that "cracked texture". Very nicely done.

By the way, I love that "cracked texture". Very nicely done. Ahh look i dont blame ya man. I didn't place em there for eye-candy its just for my personal placement and scale ratio. And yeah next time ill get a render of it, no wireframe.

| Still, that's great progress you're making. These are going to look fantastic once you get them in-game.
By the way did you check out the links I sent for the textures?

Definitely the first texture is the best, by a long way I think.

| Excellent progress! As to the perspective of drawings, I'm sorry about that - I'm more an artist than an engineer. Still, it looks great. My only concern is the lack of crenelation on the walls and some of the richer buildings - it was kind of a deliberate design feature in the orginal concepts and it would be nice to see it realised. But I can't really fault you on the modelling because it's brilliant. | |

| ok thanks very much, well you know what now right? Well right now what i have to do is just piece the walls as tiles, export buildings, make homes, build it up in CS and were basically half-way there. I will provide everything. I am just showing you guys how it will end up. | |

| That looks amazing!
The only thing I would advise would be to vary the texture a bit more on the arch over the doorway - at the moment something doesn't look quite right about it, but I can't put my finger on what it is....
Perhaps its the perspective of the screenshots? I don't know. Perhaps if you made the texture underneath the arch slightly darker, or put some decoration around the doorway?
But don't let that discourage you - this thing looks fantastic and once the rest of Firsthold is finished, from what I've seen of your work so far it will be awesome!

Yeah ive seen the texture of the doorway, i cant seem to get it right. In max i set a specific texture on it same as the pillers and when i exported it turned out diferent. It was odd. Oh and uh does anyone here know how to apply transparency in textures, i did it but it didn't seem to work. Oh yeah agian, thanks. it should look much better with all of its pieces attached and in-game.
